Anyone know how to remove the oil dipstick tube from an A12?

Tap it from the bottom, sump will need to be removed.

some a series dont have a tube, i think that might be your only way, i believe they are very difficult otherwise

A10 & Datsun 1200 engines don't use a dipstick tube. This was included in the revised engines from 1974 onwards.

Get a good grip on it around the base with some multi grips and twist.

Thanks for that.. Used a bolt and tappped it out from the bottom!
