i was looking at a cherry and thought... it's transverse...
what sort of mount does the engine have? is it like the awful one from the E series? mostly curious, love to see some examples of mounting L motors transverse and untransversing motors. just to get some ideas

Yes, transverse front-wheel-drive.
I don't know what kind of mounts were used, maybe the same ones as in a B-210.

I will try and get a photo of my empty engine bay to show where they mount too and a photo of the mounts on the engine.

here the f10's and early 310's used a14's and a15's, then they went to the e15

E10 and F10 have similar engine mounting method. N10 is a bit different.
The gearbox is under the engine. Fron engine mounting poinsts are: 1. on the side of oil sump. Oil sump is made of aluminium alloy. 2. on the side of the clutch housing Rear mounting point is located near the final gear. Next weekend if I have time, I'll take the engine+gearbox out of my E10. I'll take some photos and post them here if anybody's interested. You can view topic.
