I found remanufactured electronic distributors for the U.S. version 210 for 100.99 us. Just wondering if that seems resonable.

not too bad. my source for prices came up to 106.99 so you did fine.
what is this source? can they recurve them? do they have other curves? can they mod mine to have a crank position sensor?

pull the inside plate & hardware from an older toyota tecel , tach weld the plate with the trigger & all in the same place as the old plate , might have to slightly modify the reluctor , can't exactly remember , been a long time since I've done this.

I think a GA16 dizzy could be used, possibly, and it had optical crank position. Or was that the e15et, or both. but i think there's a possibility there i forgot about.

That is just a swap from one dizzy to another , a good and easy way to replace points too.

I HAVE DONE THIS BUT WITH A 88ISH COLT DIZZY (ONLY HAD TO DRILL AND TAP 2 HOLE AND TURN THE RELUCTOR UPSIDEDOWN (COLT SPINS IN OPOSITE DIRECTION)

I did a swap already in my coupe, and it works great. I happened to to find it lying around in my storage, next to an identical one that had a bent shaft, complete with the "black box" on side. I was hoping to either replace the shaft or just get a new unit and transfer the guts over. I want to use it in my sedan.

If you don't have the square module that is generally mounted on the side of the dizzy , then you can substitute the module with an older GM V8 module , wich is cheaper than a jap. module.
