Ok I dunno if the images are working or not, but if you care to have a look on my myspace the photos are on a photo viewer if you page down, u might just have to wait for them to scroll accross.

Myspace bites arse worse than most of the other free hosting sites. No way you are sharing those photos easily with us.
For those not as patient as I, it's a Datsun 1500 Ute, Kinda looks like a 1600, And it's got the 'one tonner' style tray on it. There were plenty of them around. I expect it's got a J15 engine, but you say it's a 1300, so it must be the J13, which is unusual. If you are not going to fix it up, then it is only good for scrap metal. I don't know of any Australian Datsun people who are crazy about such a truck. You might get $500 for it. But not from me. ![]()

No offence Mitch but I did find viewing that site a bit painful, it was mainly the slow rate at which the pictures scrolled, and for some reason the page kept jumping back to the top, I never saw the ute.

Thanks very much for the input.
I appreciate the fact that Im not very good on computers. Myspace was the only way I could get the images to work, sorry bout that! You can make it scroll faster by using the control on the right. I just thought rather then ring the wreckers to come pick it up or put it in for scrap, I would see if someone might be looking for this particular style of ute. It is deffinately a 1300 motor. Is there any where I could go to post it for sale. Someone must have a good use for the ute. I have very fond memerois in it, and would be a shame to see it go to scrap. Thanks for the time you took to check it out DattoDude. I appreciate it!

I reckon those old utes look a bit like a 1600. If its fairly straight and not too much rust, it would make a cool little truck. Especially if it were dropped with a set of decent rims, a nice tray and a decent motor.
Mmm, where are you at?

Yeah I mean. Im no car nut or anything. But I dont think it has much rust through it or anything like that. And it has no big "dings" in any of the panels apart from a bit of a bend in the bonnett. It is very old and in need of TLC . The car is in the Southern Highlands. Bout an hour and half south of sydney... are u interested in it?

I would be but im in sunny queensland, so its unfortunately a bit too far. Im sure someone would want it. I agree that it should fetch around the 500 mark, especially if it runs and drives.
You may even be able to legally swap a commodore v6 into that cause of the full chassis... now that would be fun! Chuck it in the classifieds on this site, or even on ebay. Better 2 get even a carton than scrap it, eh. You can view topic.
