i have a A12a thats been sitting in my shed for 3 months. its in good nick and doesnt burn oil only thing is the head isnt in the best nick. it blew a head gasket and was changed without re facing the head (it was only to get me out da poo) from memory it doesnt have dizzy, exhaust manifold or fuel pump ect but still has inlet manifold and carby. this was a running motor b4 it was pulled out. its free so dont complain :). im near elizabeth nth of adelaide.

Just to be sure - by A12A you mean the A12 from the 120Y with a mid mount distrubutor. (As opposed to an A12 from a 1200).

Any different to the A12A in the US.

hi there i was just wondering if the motor has a alternator on it. as the one i got sounds like its about to come apart.

For the record, the A12A is the 1237cc engine that was used in the US model 210 [B310] from about 1979 to'81.

Its the same as the late A12, but with a 75mm bore size instead of 73mm.

this motor is still available. its intact except carby which i still have
