thicker metal in the front guards could help hold the huge flares you will need.....dont think any 1200s came with guards like that though

what sorta stronger parts are you meaning?

10's on the front!
now thats funny!
mate i have 10's on the back of my datto,i don't see how you could fit them on the front unless they had zero backspacing and all hanging out the sides.
the only reason you would want tyres that big is if you were making it four wheel drive, now that would be cool.

Now I could understand 10" diameter if it was for a category of racing where this might be an advantage, but 10" wide in a 1200, ...... on the front? What are you using on the rear, ... 14" wide rims?

I hope you have done your sums as even 6" wide rims in as little as 14" diameter can cause all sorts of steering lock dramas if one is not carefull with offsets & tyre diameter.

This I gotta see, so looking forward to some pictures.

well 10inch wide rims on the front does seem like a pipedream.

10" on the front is HUGE. It would hamper your steering effort more then it would help it wouldnt it? Why so wide?

I remember a 240Z build on classiczcars and he was running 10" wide tyres on the front. Everybody thought he was nuts for running such wide tyres on the front, and that was a much bigger 240Z

I hope your running Power Steering! Thats gotta be a beeutch to steer!
