What crazy things has anyone done in their datsuns ?
Last week I bought an ex Australia Post (postie bike) known as a Honda ct110 (or something like that). Maybe it was a stupid thing to do but anyhow I decided that I would drive about 150klm to the sellers place with the intention of putting the bike in the back of my old 120y station wagon. I'd done my research on laying the bike over for the trip, and many people told me that it would be okay as long as I drained all the fuel out of the bike first. Well to cut a long story short a postie bike is a little bigger than you might imagine but within a very short time we had the bike inside the wagon with the tail gate shut and on the way back home. A very uneventful trip . I pulled the bike out of the wagon when we got home , filled her with fuel and off it went!! All good. I'd just like to know what other crazy things people have stuffed into their cars ,utes and the like Happy motoring!!!!!!!!http://datsun1200.com/modules/myalbum/photo.php?lid=12583

A few years back, I had a minor bingle with a xd falcon sedan. The guy was nice, and we did the dodgy fix on it, so no insurance stuff to worry about.
I had the front bumper in the back seat of my 1000 4 door, sticking out the window, and the bonnet strapped to the roof with ropes through the windows. I ran the ropes through the windows, got it, and then tightened it all up from inside the car. Once i got to about 60 km/h the bonnet waould lift up from the wind. So I drove home with my arm out the window holding it down. It was only about 30 mins on the road so not too long thankfully.
