well im planning on driving the Great Alpine Road, possibly over the melbourne cup weekend.

Was guaging any interest from other Datsun drivers.

Planning on driving from Melbourne to Mertylefyrd or Bright to stay the night in motel etc.

Then drive along to Gipsland, may be stay overnight or take a long drive along the Princess Hwy to Melbourne.

Could be a cruise event or what ever you like. Me i just want to cruise.

would love to blast up the mountain road to hotham in the dry weather.

great road, i do it every year but mostly with snow chains on

yeah, have always wanted to do it in the dry..... thats why after spring starts

i'll be up for it more than likely ... although i was a little more excited before i read the thread .... i thought by the title someone may have been lobbying the government for a new special public holiday so we could all bask in the glory of the Mighty Datsun 1200 !!!!!

we could claim our datsun addiction and love as a religion on the next census and loby for a religious beliefs holiday (evy weekend of the year )
