Cam help needed with SR20DE race car

Hi lads just wondering if you may help me with SR20 DE cams.
I have a silvertop s13 Sr20 motor in my datsun 1200 racecar. The motor is stock apart from EFI hardware quad 48mm throttle bodies with I believe 330cc bosch injectors ECU is autronic SMC I have HKS adjustable cam gears rocker stoppers and I have a custom made 4 into 1 headers with 2.5 inch exhaust. I was wondering what cams I could use to maximise this motor without having to pull the head off or major internal work at this stage? On the club alot of people recommend the JWT S4 cam as its simple to install without need to rehash the valve train. What product do you supply that you can recommend and what HP rating may it give me? Regards, Converted

Craig, Call Tighe cams in Brisbane about the cams & talk to Dean Tighe himself. I can remember talking to Dean at Tamworth a long time ago about exactly this (i've had an sr20de sitting in my shed unused since 1994) & he said they had at least 4 different grinds for both inlet & exhaust. The 1200 coupe that ran in Club Car (before Improved Production) ran Tighe cams for about 260 hp, with not much else done to it. Also the Morriss brothers in Melbourne used to run an sr20de in a 1600 & Phil Morriss set his own cam company up at some time. Or find a HKS dealer & ask if he's got a catalogue of the cams they offer. Theres a guy at Smithfield who i was going to get some cams from, until he proved unreliable in other areas. Hope these give you some ideas about where to go from here.
