What is the difference between this and an LSD, apart from $300. How do they work?

Its just a solid centre, like locking a diff without the welding.

arent r31 viscous? how do you shim a viscous diff?
I've heard that the EA falcon centers are the way to go as they have usually had an easier life

yeah i was talking ea ones...doubt that r31 are viscous, being the same diff as falcon and commodore and they are both clutch pack

Yeah they are clutch type centers. I went and grabbed one out of an XF falcon and the wreckers and they are a 25 spline. How sure are you guys that the EA version would fit my 28 spline R31 diff?
