Thats one nice A series, a couple of more HP than mine and well out of my price range, but if I won the lottery I snap it up straight away.

1200 Coupe I believe. That lap time of 66secs is very quick for a 1600cc saloon. V8 Supercars do 56s.

doesn't 190+bhp=240hp+flywheel? isn't Pukekohe like Lakeside more suited for smaller/lighter cars? this car should run 11's on the 1/4 with that hp?

Any production based 1600cc two valve pushrod engine that produces that much power, unblown, is going to be pretty much undriveable at anything much less than full song. After my own experiences with A series engines, I would say that very few people could hope to have such an engine professionally built for anywhere near the asking price. At 10K [NZ?] it's damn cheap. "Absolutely no expense spared" I do not doubt that statement for a moment. For a comparison, check out Pitroad for their competition engine prices.

Yes I think last the time the V8 where there they did 57s. The tyrepower coupe did 67 around there with 1300cc but only 590kgs. You can view topic.
