Rebuilding an A14

hi all I have been quoted $350 for a full rebuild kit for an A14 is this a fair price?? I am a bit out of touch thanks and cheers

is that with pistons rings bearings etc.?
i just bought a full gasket kit, albeit trade price for $65

You need to list the parts for what money your've been quoted,there are too many variables. Hate to see you get done

the money is in the reconditioning of the block eg boring new sleevs honing its time consuming stuff and isnt that chaep lol

i recomend a 30/70 cam grind and bore it 40 thou. if it hasnt already been done.

Thanks to all you guys who replied it does include 40th oversize pistons with rings all bearings and all gaskets. Oh yes I already have a 30/70 cam to go in it. plus my 2x40 dcoe's and extractors. I will probably buy the rebuild kit from this mob then by the sounds of what I am reading it seems a fair price. Anyone any idea what sort of horse power all this will give me?? Thanks to all for you help here cheers
