Hey guys,

I have just ordered some throttle bodies from an r6 injected yamaha. they came with fuel rail and injectors for $100!!!

Now I have the computer, webber manifold to adapt it to. what I need to know now is how to get the fuel to it what size piping to run and how much pressure????

5/16th standard EFI I would think. You'll need 2 lines, feed and return.

25-35 PSI will do the job. Get a EFI pump, and a regulator (that attaches to the tank return line). The regulator might already be attached to somewhere on the fuel rail.

Sorry this may sound stupid but,

Why would the regulator go on the return?

I'm confusing myself the more I think about it.

you want to regulate the 'pressure' between the pump and the injector. think about it after a beer, it makes more sense.

yep listen to dattodude, except on my SR20DE with autronic setup We bumped the fuel pressure to 60psi for optimum spray pattern....best way is to have your injectors bench tested to see what would be the optimum pressure to run...

Dattodude I think I know whats going on.

Retal Where did you buy the setup from? 100 squids is pretty damn cheap. I was trying to sus out what the setup looks like but couldn't find pics of it all. Post some pictures up.

Are the throttle bodies the newer revised 40mm ones or the old 38mm R6 ones?

150 cc/ cylinder on the R6

I'd be interested to know the answer actually. There were a set of keihin carbs on ebay not long ago, very expensive though.

EDIT: I think Beattie and Sidedraught know a fair bit about m/cycle carbs on datsuns, it'd be interesting to hear what they have to say. I think it was Beattie?
