my rego papers say mine is a 1967 datsun 1000 ute is this rare i only paid $600 with a rear gearbox seal gone has new floor and no rust crap home paint job but

I think dattoman parted one out... it was a 66 or 67 because i remember him saying "it could have been the first in australia but who knows?"
4dr and coupe wernt around in 66 were they?

Ah, good information. I have updated the chart in the club wiki and added a chrono-list of the dates.
I was thinking those 4 1966-produced wagons probably went to Taiwan or somewhere in SE Asia. Or maybe to consulates. You can view topic.
