Does anyone know how well a B110 chassis handles a V8 or a V6, and which V8/V6 will be easiest to install

The past couple of days I've been looking into that a bit. It seems that the Ford 302 or the Chevy small block would be the best bet with preference to the Chevy due to the fact that there is more of everything out there for it to make it "fit." I have a '71 coupe that is in rough shape that I'm thinking of doing the same thing to. If someone has anymore info on this we would appreciate a little insight.

Ford windsor (289/302) is an easy fit. It is narrower than the GM/Chev V8, it fits in the 1200 easily and the distributor is in front. With GM V8, distributor is in back where it interferes with B110 firewall.
