do all 1200 motrs fit into a 1000 i have one but friend told me they wont all fit any help would be good does engine numbers help

there are two types of a12 im pretty sure you need the earlier type

The one with the distributor at the front is what you are after.

If you have a welder, either will do. . .

I had a 1200 in a 1000 centre distributer now run a 1400 all you need to do is a little mod to the engine mount not a big job I can send you a picture of them if you like
