After stripping the coupe down and spending weeks cutting out the rust and welding in new metal work got busy, so did life and interest fell away.

It's been sitting in my garage for about two years now gathering dust and crap heaped up on top of it.

manual or auto tunnel?

yeah should have mentioned that:

Auto tunnel.

The Celica 5speed will only fit in an auto tunnel. The 5 speeds mounts have been modified and fit directly onto existing auto mounting holes.

The prop shaft connects to the celica box and to the borg warner diff i have in this car. That diff is out of a 120Y. A sedan i think but i really can't be sure anymore.

I also forgot to mention the front struts:

As preped by Stuart Wilkins again:

180B struts (big stub axel)
modified to accept higer rate 1200 springs (30% i think and about 1" lower)
Koni adjustable shocks.
S.W. Brake upgrade to fit inside 13" wheels
commodore calipers and vented disc of some other car, can't recall anymore.

The front end was great on this car.

Leaf spring/solid rear axel left a fair bit to be desired...

lots of goodies for a great price, I cant see it hanging around for long!

Sorry guys first in best dressed and I just happen to be on holidays and logged in at the right time.

yep thats right the gearbox and kit is worth about $1200 brand new
the engines cost me thousands but it's not new either
the struts/brakes cost about a grand
the webers cost me over a grand.

So yes, it's a damn bargain but
a) i want it all gone easy so i'm not chasing dollars
b) i want someone to take it all with no hassles.
c) i want a datsun fanatic to take care of what was once my baby. I'm sure you all know how it is.

which is why i just accepted an offer for $1500 the lot.

One of you offered a little more so i'm sorry but i'd already accepted the first offer.

If this bloke changes his mind (and he swears he's commited) then i'll restart the post.
