We have a lot of spares in South Africa due to the fact that they still manufacture the A14 Nissan UTE. Most of the A14 Nissan UTE is the same as the older Datsun models (ex. 5 speed gearbox, inlet panels, manufolds, heads, etc.)

do the 5 speeds out of the new dattos fit the older 1s? or is that what u were getin at?

Yes, the new 5-speeds fit the B110. They are just 60A transmission. You can get them brand new ex-Japan or ex-ZA for about $1500 USD, but shipping is another $450 (or more) USD, not including customs duty and taxes if any.

CCM, can you get a used Steering Wheel and column cover like this, what will shipping to USA and total cost be?

ok it must be a big sercert or something but in SA there is a co that make after market tail lights they are way different it a good way , i can try and find the web site hmmmm ok no luck but the guy in sa that know the website is Velociti there clear tail lights and from memory the web page wasnt very overseas friendly :(
