276, if measured the way I think it is, is not so bad for turbo.
Big overlap cams are bad for turbo fuel economy. as the pressured air+fuel enters the chamber while exhaust valve is still open. I read a bit about this when I went for 270 cams in my CA18det.

Will fuel economy be the only thing affected, because I have a pretty wild cam and want to boost my engine eventually. I was thinking I'd have to change the cam but it'd be nice if I didn't.

i run a 270 in my toyota pushrod 5k motor and it works well, but it was a cam designed for turbo so i donno if you can change the overlap point to suit turbo or n/a?
