ROConnor Posted on: 2008/3/4 11:51
I'v got a 1200 sedan with a slighty trick a15 with twin 40mm dellortos, it runs a generic 4psi eletric fule pump and when you drive like feind the carbies get ahead of the fule pump (I think?). what sort of psi's should I be runing???......... It's also got the funkiest dizzy I'v ever see, it has NO vacume advance?? and the strangest set of point's I'v ever sean? I'l post pics when I'm abit more savy! peace

The vacuum advance is not there because it is not needed for these carbs. You'll find base timing is higher than normal 12-15

WhiteSedan's right on the money. With dual Webers & a half way decsent cam you won't be generating any vacuum to speak of which is why Webers have no provision for a ported vacuum takeoff anyway.

Found the problem... Rust flakes in the tank. Got a fuletank treatment called "KREEM" that etches the surface and then coats it with a rubbery skin. and its all runing trick now!!
