Just want to get peoples opinion bout fitting a 12a into a 1200 coupe. Will the 12a gearbox fi Are the 12a's expensive. Are there any major issues ahead. Cheers.

Have a look with the search button on the left plenty of info there or pm ange he's got a 12a in his 1200 ute

stock type 12A is hard to find, so only expensive race-prepped is all you can find. On the other hand, compare to racing 4 cyl, they are a good buy.

where are you? 12a are a dime a dozen in australia. you'll get one with a gearbox for 30-500 bucks. if you are serious about this feel free to ring me as i have done the conversion as well.
