ute diff into 120y

Just wanting to know if a standed ute diff will fit straight in to a stock 120y,need something abit stronger for the CA.. any help would be great thanks

Yes a 1200 ute diif will bolt in as well as a h190 from a 1600 wagon

You will have to weld brackets on for your dampers. (cut and recycle the ones off the 120Y diff)
The brake line splitter will be on the other side. (weld nut on top of housing.)

What diff are you running now? The standard banjo or the auto borg warner style?

not to sure just getting in to the 120y sence now lol... it a stock auto diff ( car is a stock auto )

You'll need a new tailshaft too.
And match the rear brake cylinders to the front. . . You can view topic.
