hey everyone
im looking at upgrading my engine and
thinking about putting a sr20 det in
i have a 1200 ute.

i just wanted to know what you have
to do
Q1.-do u have to cut anything?
Q2.-what gear box do u use?
Q3.-what driveshaft do you use?
Q4.- is there anything to watch out
for or any tips on doing the
conversion
if anyone has done it or knows a bit about it
please help .

Make sure you have enough money to complete it, as it's sad to always see unfinished projects for sale where people start a conversion and realise they've bitten off more than they can chew.

Also it will probably cost you more than you first expect so be prepared.

Most of this stuff has been covered before so if you search you'll find lots of info about it.

definately agree ^^^
Most of the conversions you see people start never eventuate. Have a large budget to start with, much larger than first calculated otherwise you're destined for a slow build indeed.

Be aware also that in most Australian states you might find it hard or impossible to get such a beast legally registered.
