Melbourne Mechanic?

Hey guys, need to find a good cheap mechanic just to fit new timing case and gaskets in melbourne. was going to do it, but had a house fire two weekends ago and the new place has no parking, so would prefer to just tow it to a mechanic (got my tax back yesterday!). have to hand back keys to the burnt one (where the car is) on monday, so any quick info would be great. cheers

sorry, in st kilda, somewhere close, less towing fee would help.

Isn't a timing case gasket an engine out fix?
Just in case

i wouldnt reckon its an engine out job, surely it would be radiator out at the absolute most.

Because of the 2 studs hanging out of the
timing case (or the front of the block can't remember) for the sump. I'm pretty sure it's sump off. A good mod is to replace those studs with bolts when it's apart then if needed to remove again you can loosen the sump to free the timing case.

if my misses knew there were 2 studs in my engine bay, she might ride in my ute more often.
