120Y Wagon for sale, Victoria

Hi everyone. I'm new and need some advice. I have my Dad's 1975 orange 120y station wagon and am trying to come to terms with selling it as he passed away 6yrs ago and we can't keep it for much longer (cost to register and insure - lack of space). My husband's been driving it for the past 2 years and absolutely loves it but he needs something more long term and this is more of a fixer-upper. It is breaking my heart and I don't want to sell it to just anyone as he had it since new (it's a '75. I'm a '76!) and it is very sentimental to me. It is original but needs work (paint-job, bit of rust, a few dings not by Dad! and mechanically excellent). He cared so well for it and the clock has gone around more than once and still never done a head!
Do you think there'd be any interest out there for anyone who might want to restore it? I can't stand the thought of someone taking it who won't care for it the same way as he did and would love to think it might return to its former glory.

It will help if you let us know where you are located. Also, if you email the photos to me I can put them onto the site for you. Regards Matty

Hi all. I've finally pulled the finger out and added a couple of pics of my Dad's car. Hopefully it works as I'm not familiar with this forum. We are near Werribee. If anyone is interested in this car, preferably for restoration, please reply.

I'm selling my Dad's 1975 Datsun 120Y wagon. It is very sentimental as Dad passed away 7 yrs ago and it was his pride and joy. It isn't running now (just broke down recently) and I'm not sure why. Not registered.
In Wyndham Vale, Victoria. Please reply to this thread if you are interested and I'll send you my number/street address by private messge. $1000 neg (with all proceeds going to Peter MacCallum Cancer Institute in Dad's name)

Good luck with the sale mate, the money's going to a great centre, they treated and got rid of my cancer back in 2006/2007!

Wyndham Vale, Victoria is where the car is?
I think this might find a 120Y fan who would treasure this lil car. The wagon is the less often seen of the 120Y. Everybody, tell your 120Y loving friends about this opportunity! NOTE: I merged the two separate topics together.

Yes, add $2000 for shipping. No problem, a 1975 gets automatic waiver from US crash and emission certification upon proper paperwork. My 1974 1200 pickup came from overseas. If you want it, get it.
You would have the only B210 Wagon in the United States!

if it were a 2 door sw i could justify the 2000 grand shipping.
