Datto 1000 ute chassis No.

Hi
I just picked up a datsun 1000 ute unfinnished project. It has no compliance plate and I cant find the chassis No. Can anyone help please? I wanted to make sure its legit before I start spending heaps of cash. Heaps of cash. Thanks

should be on the dizzy side of the motor on the sidewall of the engine bay

Would anybody be able to tell me what the year model might be? Does anybody know if I can get it registrated with no compliance plate?

its actually not even a compliance plate its just an info plate

it's too old for a compliance plate, should just have the body number and the ID plate..
thats all..

Do you know if it will get blue slipped without an ID or info plate?

1200's have the chassis number on the right hand rear chassis rail near the rear apron, normally hidden under 30 years of road muck, not sure about 1000's. Good one to look for incase someones done a dodgy.
