ok guys i've got a datsun here that i'm putting up here rather than ebay, so you guys have first dibbs. i don't really want to sell her but i've got to move interstate and there are too many other unfinished projects already taking up container space.
this datsun was bought off a guy in country vic. he'd bought it down with him from sydney where the work done on the car was by datspeed. the car is a rolling shell at the moment with the doors and roof lining still in.
the car was setup for a z18 turbo. it was an auto originally. engine and gearbox mounts are done.throttle cable done. it has a 1200 ute diff with bluebird discs fitted. i think the struts are 180b.new front brake hoses.tandem master and booster fitted. the tailshaft has been done. hyd clutch done.fuel lines done. basically i think they converted it then he pulled it down to do the rust and that was where he stopped. i bought it in bits and haven't had time to touch it yet. pulsar radiator and new thermofan in box. new clutch in box. new battery box and cables. 3 inch exhaust.1 complete engine and gearbox from importer,apparently never used since he bought it.
1 long motor, 1 short motor, spare cylinder heads, inlet and turbo manifolds, rocker covers,distributors,std airflow and ecu, turbo's including a reconditioned one still unassembled. another gearbox,rods pistons,t/cover lots of bits. all body trims are there, coupe dash that some goons painted badly, new coupe grille and original grille, loom and switches, front and rear windscreens,bumpers, door trims untorn+black,seats in storage but i think they're untorn,black also. it's wearing 185/60/14 falken ziex tyres on sigma steel rims.tyres are 90%+. there is also two more ute centres a 3.9 and a 4.1 i think. there is a bluebird wagon diff ratio unknown and i have discs and calipers on skinny axles yet to be fitted.
the body is basically straight with rust in the firewall/footwell area and at the top of the firewall near the inner guard area. there are no guards or bonnet as these were well rusty and i tossed them. the rear right quarter has been sanded back and needs work.there is black carpet that was new but has been out of the car and has gone a bit curly at the edges.
most of it is there, it just needs the body doing and reassembly.
i'm running out of time so i'm chasing $1500 firm for the whole shooting match. if there are no takers, i'm probably going to have to ditch the body and try and fit the rest in, which would be a shame. i bought this car, cause i had a z18 1200 coupe in the early 90's that was a stocker with 10 pounds no cooler that i took to heathcote and did 35 runs in one day! low to flat 14's all day.bullet proof. not mind blowing in this day and age of ca18's but that kept a lot of the v8 wankers and the pre cooler vl boys honest back then. just wanted to relive my misspent youth!

i have met this guy by random and told him about this web site, the gear is all there just a shame about the shell as it is engenieered for the set up.

call him or email him if possible, he wouldnt check on here that often im guessing.

are those 15 inch chasers? id like to find some 15x6 inch chasers to suit a datto
