randoli - TRX mags are one of the most common or sought after mags as they fit perfectly on the 1200.

yeah i'm familiar with the trx and seen how good they look- problem is my front end isn't standard - i've been told sunny discs, and i know after my run in with a roo - (http://datsun1200.com/modules/newbb/v ... ?topic_id=38284&forum=1&7) lower control arms are stanza, not sur about the strut.
anyway my track isn't where i want it. i want to bring it in but i can't with the 6" rim i've got as i'm only mm's from the strut. i was thinkng 5.5" might give me the room i need - hence the query

yeah with a stanza/sunny front end they sit perfectly. they sit really close to the strut
when i had a set on my car the front was perfect and i had 8mm slip on spacers on the back so they sat nearly the same as what the front did

yeah - not keen on the spacers, and therin lies the problem.
to bring the track in at the front in to where i want it i need +45 min. and to bring the back out i need +31 max. got my eyes on F8F watanabes 14x5+45 and 14x6.5+30. but at 2500 + tyres and after forking out about the same recently for a new ecu, i don't think the boss will be too keen. other option is to go for a 5" hoop on the front and have my existing centres fitted and have the offset changed on the rear. problem is i've been lead to believe that tyre to fit 15x5 are rare. anybody care to comment? also what are the legalities of having diff. sizes front to rear?. qld. transport in http://www.transport.qld.gov.au/resou ... ation_motor_vehicles2.pdf say that "All rims fitted to an axle must be of the same diameter, width and offset" The keyword here i beleive being "an", to me indicates front and rear can be diff. to each other. do you guys agree?
