well i was looking underneath the kb-10 today and found a sad excuse for the shocks that were on there, skinny little things they were. anyone have an idea as to what shock would be a good (permanent) replacement that would also keep it comfortable?

Good luck dude. I think some of the boys have used 4cyl toranna shocks but they are still an old and small type of shock, possible only come in oil (not sure on that). I found some NOS 1K shocks in a dingy little parts place, but they are very old and only oil. I started to talk to pedders about getting some made but they didnt want to know about it. If you find anything on your quest please let me know, I would love to upgrade.

Ive used LJ Torana 6cyl Monroe Gas shocks and they worked well... mind you I use the car for club sprints so it is a fair amount stiffer than std...

None of those meet the request:Quote:

Really
, I talked to a guy at pedders and he told me he done a set before and it was a pain in the arse. He told me he needed a bit of time and without him telling me, he made it clear he didnt really want to do them. He hinted that it would cost me so forgot about it. I was going to leave them until the car was ready to drive. That makes me happy that I dnt have to put the old oil shocks back on the front .Hey dato1000wagon, how is your coupe coming along dude?
