I have owned my ute forever, well nearly, it was a "Rivers and Waters" ute in Mildura originally, another owner, then me ....

Date of manufacture: 11/79
Colour: White
Interior: Brown

Condition: Original and Working but not perfect after all these years.
Registered: yes
Body Condition: good except one dent
Paint: White, original
Rust: Very little, lived in dry climate and shed. Surface rust.
Motor: original 1200 motor, rebuilt with pistons, rings, rebore, bearing, head overhaul about 70,000km ago. Oil and filter etc changed every 10,000kms
Gearbox: good
Clutch: good, changed with motor
Diff: good, original ute diff
Tail shaft: new joints and balanced not that long ago, still good.
Brakes: standard drums!
Wheels and Tires: Standard 155x12, three spares
Extras: spare motor and various parts.

The marketplace response suggests you are asking more than it is worth. Otherwise with 18M potential buyers, it would have sold.

I just sold an origonal 1200 ute for $100. Origionally it was stuffed. I mean FUBAR!!

Yours is much nicer. Not sure about $6K though.

$4000-4500 would put it up, and saying that for a ute that need very little work still a good ute for sumone for a start.....

My Mum was devastated on Mothers Day it didn't turn up. My guess is more like around the $3,500-$4,000 mark if its pretty much rust free.

So Who's going to offer me $4500-
