I made a few sets of kits last year using sigma disks and calipers. I have a last set left if you're keen. rebuilt calipers brackets to suit and new disks that have been machined to take a 1200 coupe hub plus some spacers that you need to space the caliper out.

i was doing the vannete front end swap but gave up on it its to hard
there are easier conversions like the hyundai sonata rotor and custom bracket to take a large caliper like a landcruiser one or commodore or falcom one

My wags had a back-yard disc brake converion which work to great effect.
It consists of 1200/120y discs/calipers, and a couple of easly made (with a MIG, drill/press, vice) brackets, from memory it was 18x6 strap.

I`ll see if I can`t find some pics of this set-up.

A couple of years ago I had to put the old girl on one of those road-side brake/suspension testing devices, there was a long line of falcadorlines getting tickets for all sorts of things (mainly for braking issues and illeagal mods.)
I was quite concerned as all my mods have never seen an engineer and I know for a fact that the A12 from the 1200 is as big as you can go, and disc brake conversions need to be certified.
I drove away with the inspector saying that my brakes were the best they tested all night (somthing about my car testing to 95% and that 50% was a pass)
Cheers,
GO THE DAT!

there is only one type of front hub toff a 120y that fits on the 1000 axle it looks the same as the one in the picture it has to be straight up and down where the bearing sits not tapered

The 1200 coupe hub will go straight onto a 1000 stub,i'm not aware of any other straight swap...but always open to others discoveries.

The Sonata route is a good trick if your capable of fabricating a bracket to hold the caliper
