What have you done about a reverse light switch when youv installed a 60A normal shift patern? Seeing as it fos on the trans crossmember mount?

Choices:
* Plug the hole, and optionally add an external hand-operated switch
* Cut hole in tunnel to give room

yeah, cutting is not an option - to many datsuns get cut. and a hand being hand operated could be comfusing. if for example my girlfriend or mother was too get in my car and need to drive it, you get what i mean i want it toom operate as any normal car. otherwise im thinking of a switch that is activated by the shifter in the reverse position. if others havnt got another option ill have too design something like that.

i have mounted one of those microswitches that triggered a relay for my reverse lights. they have a long arm on em so you can bend it how you want it so the stick switches it when you put it in reverse just like you mention in your last post.
