Dizzy Diaphragms
Keith
Posted on: 2009/12/2 8:47
I have 2 electronic dizzies and about 4 or 5 point versions.
The diaphragms on the point dizzies all work. The 2 electronic dizzies have leaky diaphragms. Figures huh? So, can I swap the working (larger and different shaped) diaphragm from points to electronic? TIA

You mean the vacuum advance units? I think they will not swap.
For now, just plug the vacuum hose, it will run fine without it, just lose a smidgen of power. If you watch eBay carefully you can find a new diaphragm for about $30 eventually.

The motor does physically swap, I have done it.

Yes, I have swapped motors too. But what about the Vacuum Advance?
