tyre width for a 120y

Some of you's might know i am currently building a 120y with a fj20 motor. i need some help on what maximum width of tyre i can fit at the rear. I have the diff i need and need to know how much the diff has to be shortned. i am set on the size of the rim 17's, any help guys is apprecaited.

Jamiecidpedro and Tyrie have put wide tyres on the back of thier cars. On the sedans you could probly go about a 205 with guard rolling, the coupes have more room in the back for this sort of thing
