oil change on a suzuki dr 250

hey guys stupid question but i have a dr 250 and wanna change the oil. i can only see 1 oil plug. does the oil there get used for the gearbox and the engine?

Yes, I do not know of a motor that does not share it's oil between motor and gearbox.
Personally I only use motor cycle oil, because it contains additives for the wet clutch.
