hey guys im little confused about somthing. i had a 1000 ute with an a15 and 4 speed running 4.44 h145 and it went well better than the stock A12 it had but this 1000 ute feels faster and its only got a A12 in it. its running a A10 carby and same driveline.is there a reason for this?
it sorta makes me wanna go quad throttle and better valve springs :P

It only feels slower.
Put a stopwatch on it, and you'll find it is much faster than then A12. You could make it feel faster by fitting an open air filter and loud exhaust system.

maybe the a12 revs nicer and you dont notice the revs as much as you do in the a15.

How could it be? The A15 can rev just as high as the A12.
Most likely you are not driving them the same way. The A15 has so much more torque that you are probably not letting it rev up as much.

one thing i was wondering was if i put my e15et in it its only going to rev to about 6k ish but i can build a 10,000 rpm A12 screamer which will see more revs in 4th. wouldnt i go faster in the a12 than the e15 turbo?

Go faster? Do you mean top speed?
The E15 will accelerate faster than the A12, let alone E15ET. E15 has a better flowing cylinder head than A12 or A15.

Is the a12 oval port head? Is the cam a gx cam?
An a12gx feels better than an a15 with 4.44 rear. The a15 feels good with a 3.9 rear.

The most important word here is "feel" -- which has no specific definition.
