hey i need to know how an electric choke works on a 32/36 weber and what activates the choke ,altinator? and what actualy makes it open ?

any help would be great

yeah its got a ciol in it that has a terminal on the outside and it is earthed on the side

Same method of operation as the fuel and temp guages on a 1200, normally a variable earth but the choke may be a variable (+).

ignition feed supplies current thru the coil, when it gets hot, opens the choke,

ok then so it only comes on when you crank the motor or when its running
and i need some ideas for my gokart
