They have a closeout on old stock of Pacesetter headers and we're selling A15

Ah, this is true for you folks down under and it is a shame that a lot of the parts all of us would like to get our hands on for the cars are not easy to find. Primarily I was
alerting Andy who lives in the U S that he may find the extractor he desires for a lot less money than going to the
NISMO route. I spend a lot of time looking for any
good parts that would be a boost of HP for any of
the A series engines and have the same problem in
reverse because I hear and see lots of GOOD STUFF
available in Australia but the cost factor is what
gets in the way. I'm sure that as interest builds as I am seeing it here grow we will get better deals eventually and I hope to stock a lot of parts that will be affordable for us
here.
Thanks for the Feedback!
Steve

Steve, I called that Impact Parts store a couple weeks ago and the item that they had was just the exhaust pipe from the muffler back and not any headers...the funny part was that it's
supposed to be a higher performance exhaust by Pacesetter, so I asked what size the tailpipe was. I almost laughed when he said 1-1/2 inch diameter, but I was able to keep it in. Mostly
everyone in here has tailpipes almost twice the size as stock! I bit the bullet and ordered the header yesterday, it should be in by next week. It sucks to find out that someone has a used
header for it in the club, but maybe that can be someone else's great find. The only thing I am worried about at this point is if it will fit with the GX intake (oval ports with water
circulation). The catalog said it was designed to work with the Mikuni intake which is a little different. If there turns out to be no way that I can get this intake to work, I have another
GX intake of different design with the smaller circular ports, no water circulation, and the ports are a little longer, so this other one will probably work with it. Then the other thing
I'm worrying a little about is the fact that I've got an A15 using A12 mounts and angle iron in my 1200, and I hope the header clears everything. I'm sure I can figure out some way to get
this thing to work, ya'll can count on that. Thank you everyone for the advice and help.

Well thats a bummer about another deadend for a header!
You might try David Webber at Malvern if the configuration gets spooky. He seemed to have a lot
of knowledge about what combinations fit when I talked to him.
At this point I am thinking the best idea for me is to have some of my mechinist buddies just make what I need for me and will be sure to keep the ability to make copies
of anything that works well.
So eventually Sagemanone will be making a lot of special parts for any of my friends cars at the 1200 club!!
How about a Ram intake downdraft manifold that
uses the Ford Pinto 2 barrel that holley sales?
Torque out the WAZOO!! and lots of parts any time you need them!!
