Well I found a set of 13in Slot Mags and tried fitting them last night only to find that the top of the front brake Caliper has very little clearance, only about one credit card thickness worth. Is this really unsafe? I've done some research and it seems that many people will grind the caliper down a tad to get some clearance.

Any advice?

dowa it rub? no thats fine then, if your woried you could grind it but why would you want too unless it does it.

as long as the wheel spins freely you are fine. just check around the entire rim to see if there are any casting marks or welds(if its a steel wheel)that may foul.
