lortuno Posted on: 2010/5/3 23:23
Hi guys, this is my first meet on this forum.
I´m looking for some help for my 210 DATSUN.
I changed the original A14 engine for an A15 form a vanette 1994.

Thanks sumit
I checked the link and found the A12 timming is 5 degrees, but it is to low for my engine. My original A14 is 8° but the A15 is poweress with 8°, so I try with 15° and the power is better now, but I´m not happy with the power. The engine runs smood but the fuel consumption is to high.
The A15 come from a Venette 1994 used in Japan.
My Datsun 210 is 1979 used in USA.
Regards, lortuno.

Hi lortuno

If your fuel consumption is high , tune up the carburetor
with a rebuild kit.that will sort out the fuel issue, make sure you have proper clean spark plugs, distributor connections and air filter and fuel filter, that will simply increase the power on it.

Thanks

do you know how to adjust the air mixture needle?

Hi lortuno

That is the Most Important thing in carbator tuning, it is not advisable to do it yourself unless you kinow in and out of it, if you can find a good mechanic, he will do it
if anyone there online in the forum he will give you him a clue on this ?

Thanks
Regards
sumith
