Twin 40 DCNF Weber side tracker project

I thought it may be time that I would share my progress with my long term twin Weber 40 DCNF induction project.
I have always been a fan of the downdraught synchronous webers. These little suckers are 40DCNF's . Typically they can be found on Italian thoroughbreds such are Ferrari and Maserati. With the right jetting I plan to tune these on a hot A15 just to be different. The manifold is a close match to the A-series head port spacing and shouldn't be to hard to make it work. Take a look at the pics and let me know what you think. cheers benny ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Very Nice Benny, Ive been looking at the 36mm idf version and wondering if what
you have pictured could be done as they are compact short in height. is the manifold a 1500 fiat non crossflow item?

I picked up the carbs 5 to 6 years ago off a triumph nut in the UK. I guessing the manifold is off a triumph.....

Splendid!
Velocity stacks look great. Looks like they'll just clear the bonnet too? of if they're too close you could put louvers through the bonnet? May not be your thing though. Sweet.

Definately fits under a 1200 bonnet, the ram tubes sit no higher than the std air filter assembly. Should clear the bonnet on a "K" as well i'm guessing

Yeah okay so how far off are the spacings? Or more-so do you work the manifold or the head to make the alignment? I'd like to try out some twin Weber DCD's one day (they'd have nothing on those!).
