#1 gold coast roadworthy
datsunbeginner Posted on: 2010/7/19 9:49
Hey guys does anyone know a good place to get a roadworthy on the gold coast? Even better would be someone that could come to me since my datto is unregistered at the moment? I've used AUTOKING before but they were very picky on stuff on my previous car and I don't want someone picky looking at my datto that's 34 years old. Thanks.

Anyone doing a RWC needs to be picky! What makes you special that you think because it's your car and your a genius that some one will do a dodgy roadworthy and potentially loose thier license and get slaped with thousands of dollars in fines and loose thier way to make a living???

If you can't afford to maintain a Datto go buy a Hyundai Getz on the drip.

I never mentioned anything about a so called "dodgy" roadworthy and I don't consider myself special or a genius. I also didn't say anything about not being able to afford to maintain my datto. So thanks.

Cant you drive them in QLD unregistered ? Even if you book it in and take the shortest route to the place of choice ?. Does Dr Datto do Roadworthy's ? P.S you did sort of come across like you wanted a dodgy one but obviously thats not your intention.

I used autoking. call kalil 0423627648. he did my coupe. just ensure your window washer and wipers work. tail lights headlights hazards. all the essential simple things. handbrake too. he understands that the cars not perfect and the tierod end rubbers could be cracked for example. but he does check the essentails. hope that helps. he is mobile as well.

worst thing for me is someone making out like my datsun is a lump of #OOPS# or picking out the imperfections i love about datsuns. Kalil is good like that but dont let him down with a car thats not safe on the road.
