Hi, I am painting my son's ute again.
Prepped it at TAFE (rust etc) but painted it at home in the shed in cold damp weather and the acrylic paint which has always been soft is now coming off.
Only a year old but have never been happy with the job and when we started masking up next to bits we were sanding with a wizzer the tape lifted about 30% of the top coat straight off.
I have now removed all of the offending paint and am chasing a few problems on the doors the drivers in particular.
After repairing and bogging the doors they still needed a layer of spray putty which I laid on too thick and too fast so it has developed fissues down thru all the top coats and needs major work to fix.
We need to keep the car operational so I need to buy or borrow some doors. Complete would be best so we can remove ours and strip them and get it right this time.
I need either good bare shells, rough complete doors or a loan (for a month at least) of good complete doors.
Am willing to pay or as I have a well equipped workshop in the inner west in Sydney am willing to barter or help you out on your project.Please pm me with any offers or ideas.

Ute, Sedan And Wagon All use the same front doors. We have a couple of spare ones but freight may be the killer.
