Great little first car mate! My first car was a 1200 ute and to this day i still have a spot for any of them. So after a few years away from dato's all together i have a project going on now. Good luck with the build and it looks like a good base to start with and a nice colour

gonna help a lot that the parents own a smash repair buisness full of sum good panel beaters and painters

while its apart, get them to weld in a new auto 1200 or 120 y tunnel- incase you ever want to do a conversion or 5 speed gearbox one day.

just a quick update, got most of the rust cut out
should be getting sum of the new panels on soon and getting desmond nice and strate

no pics yet should have a few on monday night

howdy everyone, got most of the rust cut out, new sills on, the RH quater and door on and the guard almost on just needs a bit of persuation , LH door on and nearly guard (also needs a bit of persuation)
