#1 A14 ARP-studs or bolts for main bearings
Datsun100ATurbo Posted on: 2011/1/18 6:12
Hi, have any of you guys found suitable ARP-headstuds or bolts for the main bearings! I know that they are not found in the ARP-catalogue but since they are such a common dimension M10 1,5 l:70mm I reckon you can find ones that suites from another engine! I believe thar the standard bolts are quite strong but since I have ARP-bolts/studs on both the head and the rods I would like to use them on the main bearings aswell!!

Ebay.com (USA) is your friend for ARP headstuds, that's where I got a set of mine.

The A-series already uses heavy-duty main bearing cap screws. The stock Nissan ones are the same one used by the L28, Z24, and L20B engines. They are plenty strong.
