Hi i have a 620 datsun ute and ive got 3 of them, and i noticed two of them have alloy housing and one has a cast one.. whats the difference??

One type is lighter that the other :)

Fair statement I say.

Racers running big power go for the H190 10 bolt. The alloy is good because it is lighter, but the housing is also a weak-point.

But yeah apart from possibly ratios and CW&P inter-changeability the only obvious difference is the weight.

I have two alloy centres out 620 utes under the house, the ratio is more than likely 4.6:1, 29 spline axles.

I would be curious to know what the ratio of the cast one is.
