Hi Dave, Is it the A14 just leaking oil? That is easy and inexpensive to fix. A rear main seal is only $5.

Jee i wish it was that cheap hear i did replace the rear main cost $24 from recpo. But its leaking from the dissy and i think i drove to far with not much oil in it.
And it sound real bad ratly. Think just ride my bike and save $$$ to rebuild the A12 i had in it was or is Know probly the better engine.

I've bought several complete engine gasket kits off eBay for $10. You can get rear main seal for $5 if you look around.

If you put more oil in it does it stop rattling? Distributor O-ring is only $2.

not sure if you noticed but you had a bit of black smoke coming out the exhaust when i could see you up ahead.

Thankfully black smoke is not a sign of engine damage. Just a fuel/ignition problem.

Normally oil doesn't come up and out of the dizzy hole, so I wonder if your block is building up pressure and blowing it out? Is your PCV working correctly to ventilate the block? Is the rocker cover breather hose fitted to the air cleaner?

Oil round dizzy? Sure it's Just not all the oil you scrubbed of your engine with oven cleaner building up there?

Sounds like pressure build up but when you cleaned your engine, you didn't get water or anything into oil did you?

I'm just remembering that day my Su needle stuck open filling cal 3 with so much petrol, it seeped past rings and filled up sump too. Started car and oil overflowed everywhere with petrol mix
