#1 A few questions?
torin Posted on: 2011/8/24 1:40
First of all i have these retractable seatbelts and can't work out where the part you click into gets bolted to? Does anyone have an idea?

Second i have this brake master cylinder and it doenst have a push rod (or what i call a push rod, the part that joins to brake pedal). Can one be bought and used or is there a better way to go?

See the photos below \/ sorry for #OOPS#ty phone quality

It looks like someone modified your ute floor panel.

Here's a stock one showing the seat belt

So i had a further poke around and there was some plastic or something stuck over the original floor panel. Found some surface rust but overall doesnt look too bad.

So the seatbelt situation is all good.

Would love some advice on the brake master cylinder??

I've got a spare brake master cylinder if you need to get a replacement.

Win-win

Brake cylinder is more difficult. You will need to find out:

* what kind of pushrod the cylinder is supposed to have. This is give you the correct end to fit into the cylinder

* a stock 1200 cylinder pushrod to compare it with. This is the end that goes on the pedal

Cut and weld the two together. If the length is not correct, use shims. Most master cylinders require a tiny bit of play in the pushrod to work correctly, so the length is critical!

your master cylinder is from a 120y. I got 1 from auto 1 last week and it looked exactly like yours.
