I was told (yet again...) that I have to remove my ute form the yard one way or the other and Dad's P76 parts car aswell (that's another story for a forum I'm sure doesn't exist even though there's a few clubs around lol). As coincedence would have it a friend of mine asked to have a look at it again cos he was looking for a better shell for his friends' turbo project.

Short story long they tyre kicked me then and tyre kicked me now about price. As anyone who's dealt with me would know I don't ussually sell datsun bits for a major profit if any, but this lowballing me has irritated me as what's left of the shell is surely worth more than the options I gave them.

Even shorter story longer, What would guys pay for fair condition 1200 ute glass? I thought about 300-400 would be fair but that wouldn't inlcude good condition rear view mirror or side mirrors cos they are never good. Glass would be cleaned like a boss and packed the same.

Thoughts? if it doesn't work out I'll just ship the poor thing off to my friends' super secret Skyline graveyard with spare parts for it cos that's easier than shipping anything to you guys down south.

i just bought brand new windscreen and rear screen, was about $320 for both. if you have all the glass in good knick with no scratches or chips to any of the glass, and all the glass is the same (ie no different tints or peeling tints etc) then i think $300 is a fair asking price. But i never shopped around for my glass so i may have been ripped off, but it was only $320 and the glass is brand new.... meh!!!

I asked a friend at novus about a 120Y windscreen and it was like 299 or something so I don't thnk the market is too varied. New glass isn't strong glass like the old stuff though so if you're one of these people that go rallying it pays to have some spares of the new thinner glass
