#1 A15 cuts out
terryearl Posted on: 2011/12/1 16:21
posted some info on here a couple of weeks ago, engine keeps cutting out. someone suggested the anti dieseling valve on carb, well, i removed the needle inside it and it appears to be running ok. my question is 1) i think it is actually the wiring to it which brings me back to an ignition switch problem???
and,2) is it ok to run engine with said needle out as it switches off fine no difference to when needle was in, the actual valve could be working ok but an electrical fault could of intermittently caused it to close hence the cutting out.any thoughts ? don't want to dammage the carb!

Yes. Niether the engine nor the carburetor require it.
